Do you Still Bullet Journal in a Binder ?

Hello, Butterflies

If you have been following for some time you may have seen the post How I Bullet Journal in a Binder. So today I want to update you on my binder planner.

From the time I started planning in my adulthood, I started Bullet Journaling. It was easy and cheap, all I need was a pen and paper to plan. At this time I was not sure planning was for me, I was not sure I had enough task or events to use a planner for.

So I bought a mini binder so I could have a place to Bullet Journal in.

So over a year, I used my mini binder making layouts for each month, drawing up weekly and adding in daily. Also in between adding in the collections section and trying new layouts and spreads that I was seeing other use on YouTube.

As I was watching a "Plan With Me" I ran a crossed someone that was using a Chic Sparrow Travelers Notebook as a Bullet Journal. I feel in love with the idea of being able to bullet journal in a Travelers Notebook. So I made one and started using it on a daily basis, and place the mini binder on the shelf for some time.

As time has gone along I found that I wanted to use more than one planner at a time. So I went back to the shelf and pulled the mini binder off and started planning how I wanted to use it. I knew that I did not want to go back to bullet journal system in the binder as I had found my groove in my TN for that.

So, I started designing my own inserts that I could print and use. I started this process at the beginning of 2018, As you can find some of these in the Download Library  I would make them for my TN as it was the planner I was using every day to test out to see if I could work with them.

At the beginning of August, it hit me the reason these inserts was not working as I was trying to use them in my TN and not the mini binder which is where I wanted them to be used in. So I change how I was making the insert and come up with some that I call "All in one". Printed and cut the inserts and place them into my mini binder. I have been using these with my TN everyday sense.

So No, I no longer Bullet Journal in my mini binder.

I have found that with using the inserts in my mini binder that my family is more inclined to reach for the planner and also write their events in.  As they shared they did not want to write in it before when I was using it as a Bullet Journal because they did not want to mess up my spreads as they had seen the work I put in on drawing outs.

I hope you enjoyed reading my update on my Bujo Binder, I hope this inspires you to try and change you planning system up with the items that help you plan your life.

If you have any questions please free to leave them below!

As always Have a Good Day Butterflies
