Using Emoji as Digital Planner Stickers

Hello, Butterflies

Well, you are using your Digital planner have you found that you may not have the right sticker to put on your month, weekly or daily? So why not use your Emoji? Then you run across that you can't adjust them to the size you need.

Today I would like to share with you how I use my Emojis and make them where I can change the sizes and place them anywhere in my Digital Planner I choose to.

Most likely if you have a Digital planner you have made a sticker book. So why not make your emoji a sticker so you can use it over and over again.

Today I will be showing you how to make the emoji in to sticker for this I will be using the app Goodnotes on my Ipad Mini 1st gen.

1. You will need to open a page you wish to hold your stickers. Then add a text box to the page, When your keyboard opens up you will need to click on the emoji icon on the keyboard of your Ipad or phone.

2. You will need to pick the Emoji you want, but adjust the text size to the larges it can go. For mine, the text size is 144. This will help in large the image.

3. You will need to close the keyboard and click on the lasso tool at the top. You will need to lasso the emoji and click on Take Screenshot.
4. You will need to copy, anywhere on the page you can paste the emoji after it is placed on the page you will need to crop the emoji so that it will have less white around the image and easier to lasso later.

You're Done!

Now you will be able to use your emojis a Digital planner sticker. You will be able to move, adjust or in large the emoji to fit your needs.

I hope this has helped you be able to add more stickers to your Digital Planner.

If you are using your emoji as planner stickers Please let us know what Emoji you use the most down below in the commits.

If you have any question also feel free to leave them in the commits.

Digital Planning

Hello, Butterflies

Today I want to talk about Digital Planning. I feel that DP has come as popular or becoming as Bullet Journaling.

I want to give you a little background on how I started looking into Digital Planning. My children had both complained how they did not have much time to write in their planners at the end of class. So they were forgetting about homework or test coming up.

So I started looking around for a solution for their problem. I ran across a youtube video on DP. but it was showing on a tablet. So I thought to myself this could work on their phones. Again it was shown in an app for an Apple product and the kids had Android phones.

A couple weeks later I found an app that could be used close to the one I had seen in the video, MetaMoJi Note. I had also learned how to create a Digital Planner with the programs I had on my computer. So now my children use their phones to write in their planners will walking to the next class.

I have watched them at home planning with the planner I had made for them, but they were adding stickers, color coding, and many other things. So I decided that it looked fun, why not make one for me.

So I did but I made it for my Ipad mini and used the app that I had seen in the YouTube video, GoodNotes.

So I would like to share with you some pictures of my DP and how I use it.

This is the Goodnotes app open with my sticker book and 2018 Digital Planner.

This is what the first page in the planner.

This is my future log, in the photo you see Jan- Apr. I swipe the page to the left to see May- Aug. and swipe the page to the left to see Sep-Dec. I can click the month name and it will open up that month.

This is my monthly view, I have self-tracker, goals and task list on the right page. On the left, I have the calendar with important date list. Also, I can click the number of a  Monday and it will take me to the week.

This is what a blank monthly page looks like.

This is my current week, I set it up daily. I set down the night before and fill it out and add stickers.

Here is a blank weekly page.

I have also added in my kid's tracker to the DP.

I have also added in my a blog tracker to the DP.

There is a button you can use to get close or you can zoom in with your fingers. I use both when adding or marking off tasks.

As you can see I do not have the apple pencil, I have an older Ipad that does not support it. I have an Ipad mini 1. So they have built into the app a palm rejection tab that I can pull up when I am writing.

Thank you for joining me as I flip through my Digital Planner.

If you have any questions please free to leave them in the commit and I will be happy to answer them.

Planner Update

Hello, Butterflies

I want to update you on the planners I use and how I use them to get things done!

If your apart of the Facebook Group you got a sneak peek of a small part of the change I have made in my planning.

Ok, I will stop dragging this on. So Last month was my Birthday month and my Sweet Husband got me a New Journal from Barns and Noble. It's a Leather Floral Book Cover. When I add the cover to my wish list I knew when I owned it I would be turning it into a Travelers Notebook.

So I know own two Travelers Notebook show in the picture below.

So Now that I had two TN, What was I going to do? I did not want to stop using my First TN because it's my first and still beautiful. I want to use my new TN because I want it for months. So I sat down with a blank piece of paper and made two columns one was new floral and the other one was old floral. Going throw my old floral TN I carried eight inserts and want to lite the weight of it.

So, why not make a work and home desk planner and my personal planner that I carry everything I need when I am out and about.

With the paper with the two columns, I wrote what  I want to keep in the work and home planner.

Older Travelers Notebook holds:
  • Bill Log
  • Project Planning
  • Inserts for random notes
  • PlanneryButterfly Business info
  • Family Password Hints & House Maintenance Log
  • Weeklys &Dailys

New Travelers Notebook Holds:
  • Collections
  • Monthly
  • Weekly & Daily
  • Trackers & Challenges
  • Insert for random Notes

I have used both of the planners for one month and found that I have a lot of room so that I can spread out the lays that I make in each. I have also found that I am more productive with having a desk planner and having a personal planner.

Well, my story does not stop there...

My son comes to me and said that he likes using his planner but found that it was hard to use will he was in class. So I had seen a couple of YouTube videos talking about Digital planning.

So I spent the next week looking up videos on digital planners and app that could help him with his problem. He carries his phone with him every day so why not use it.

I learned how to make the PDF  that made it looked like a real planner. So I made one but need to test it out before sending him the file.

So then...

I added goodnotes to my Ipad and download the pdf right into it.

Yep, I got sucked into digital planning too. I use this planner for everything. I enjoy using it and feel like I am saving a couple trees with digital planning. My son and I also like to learn new things we can do in goodnotes and show each other.

So I am now up too three planners I use on a weekly base.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my planner update. You can have more than one planner as long as you have your system down.

If you have any questions please leave them down in the commits.
