5 Back To School Weekly Spreads

Hello, Butterflies

I have 5 weekly spreads that can be used for a school planner.

Each year I set down and make a school planner out of a composition notebook for each of my children. Now that I have two High School Students I come up with 5 planner layout that may work for them and had them pick what layout they would like in their planners.

So I would like to share with you the 5 weekly layouts that I come up with so that you can be inspired to make your own or use the ones that I will be sharing.

On Friday the 13th I will be adding each weekly layout to the PlanneryButterfly Down Library. So there will be free printables of each weekly spread. Each of these spreads will be undated and A5 size.

So let's get to the weekly school planner spreads...

Week #1

Week #2

 Week #3

I hope you have got some inspiration form the spreads above to make your children planner for the upcoming school year. If you don't have the time to draw the weekly spread, I will have the free printable of each weekly layout in the PlanneryButterfly Download Library.

If you would like to see how the composition notebook school planner turns out, I will be sharing how I made them and whats inside each planner the Last Week in July.

Digital Planning

Hello, Butterflies

Today I want to talk about Digital Planning. I feel that DP has come as popular or becoming as Bullet Journaling.

I want to give you a little background on how I started looking into Digital Planning. My children had both complained how they did not have much time to write in their planners at the end of class. So they were forgetting about homework or test coming up.

So I started looking around for a solution for their problem. I ran across a youtube video on DP. but it was showing on a tablet. So I thought to myself this could work on their phones. Again it was shown in an app for an Apple product and the kids had Android phones.

A couple weeks later I found an app that could be used close to the one I had seen in the video, MetaMoJi Note. I had also learned how to create a Digital Planner with the programs I had on my computer. So now my children use their phones to write in their planners will walking to the next class.

I have watched them at home planning with the planner I had made for them, but they were adding stickers, color coding, and many other things. So I decided that it looked fun, why not make one for me.

So I did but I made it for my Ipad mini and used the app that I had seen in the YouTube video, GoodNotes.

So I would like to share with you some pictures of my DP and how I use it.

This is the Goodnotes app open with my sticker book and 2018 Digital Planner.

This is what the first page in the planner.

This is my future log, in the photo you see Jan- Apr. I swipe the page to the left to see May- Aug. and swipe the page to the left to see Sep-Dec. I can click the month name and it will open up that month.

This is my monthly view, I have self-tracker, goals and task list on the right page. On the left, I have the calendar with important date list. Also, I can click the number of a  Monday and it will take me to the week.

This is what a blank monthly page looks like.

This is my current week, I set it up daily. I set down the night before and fill it out and add stickers.

Here is a blank weekly page.

I have also added in my kid's tracker to the DP.

I have also added in my a blog tracker to the DP.

There is a button you can use to get close or you can zoom in with your fingers. I use both when adding or marking off tasks.

As you can see I do not have the apple pencil, I have an older Ipad that does not support it. I have an Ipad mini 1. So they have built into the app a palm rejection tab that I can pull up when I am writing.

Thank you for joining me as I flip through my Digital Planner.

If you have any questions please free to leave them in the commit and I will be happy to answer them.

April Setup

Hello, Butterflies

Today I would like to share with you my April set up. This Month I have changed up how I have my spread laid out. This month I have also switch Travelers Notebook, I will be posting more about the new TN and also how I am using my older TN. so make sure to follow me by email so that you can get notified as soon as I post.

With that let jump into my April Setup!

This month theme is, the cloud for the April Rain, I did not want them to look like they are about to raining but how they look after they had.

This month I want to try a new calendar view. I also took the 30th and move it up to the top with not having the room for one day at the bottom.

Also, I want to have a larger monthly task list, so for this month, I have given one full page. I have also added a time log on the page to the right. I want to see where I am spending most of my time a day.

This spread was inspired by my Son. Each day my son has a goal to make me laugh until I cry. So this spread was a way that I can saver the memories of how he makes me laugh. So when I look back this pages will put a Giant Smile on my face. Just open up my TN to this spread puts a smile on my face knowing that he will make me laugh each day.

On the right side, I have a Goals page. I am not good at completing my goals each month. So I made this page next to the "What Made Me LOL" so that I keep in mind of the goals I have set for myself, and Why I have them.

This month I have also added in a Mood Tracker, I found in the past that I would forget to fill in it in. So I am giving it another chance and decided to put it next to my Goals page.

This month I went with simple as for last month I did a lot of drawing and doodles. I feel like I took time away with drawing that I could have been working on my goals for the month.

I have kept the full page daily this month. I find that it gives me room for To Do's, Notes or Journaling.

I have my weekly review but I had to change the look of it this month. I found that I was fighting with my self to fill in the little boxes each week because there was not enough room. So this month I open up the spread to a two-page spread, I may find that this is to much space an I can decrease the side each month to fit what I need.

I have changed up the look of my main tracker. I have the tracker divided into four sections, House Work, Each of my children habits and then my habits. At the very bottom is my sleep tracker and on the right side, I have my step counter.  I have Placed my Tracker at the end of my Insert so that I will have to flip throw the insert before I reach it. This way anything I may forget to fill in I will get it done.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my April Setup. I hope I have inspired you to try new spreads or just add a little color to your month.

If you have any questions please leave them down in the commits.  If you have any suggestion for May' s Theme also please leave them down in the commits
