5 Back To School Weekly Spreads

Hello, Butterflies

I have 5 weekly spreads that can be used for a school planner.

Each year I set down and make a school planner out of a composition notebook for each of my children. Now that I have two High School Students I come up with 5 planner layout that may work for them and had them pick what layout they would like in their planners.

So I would like to share with you the 5 weekly layouts that I come up with so that you can be inspired to make your own or use the ones that I will be sharing.

On Friday the 13th I will be adding each weekly layout to the PlanneryButterfly Down Library. So there will be free printables of each weekly spread. Each of these spreads will be undated and A5 size.

So let's get to the weekly school planner spreads...

Week #1

Week #2

 Week #3

Week #4

Week #5

I hope you have got some inspiration form the spreads above to make your children planner for the upcoming school year. If you don't have the time to draw the weekly spread, I will have the free printable of each weekly layout in the PlanneryButterfly Download Library.

If you would like to see how the composition notebook school planner turns out, I will be sharing how I made them and whats inside each planner the Last Week in July.

November Setup

Hello, Butterflies

It's that time again! It's November Setup, this year is just flying by soon will be saying Hello 2018.

This month I have changed how I have layout the month spreads. It was time for a change last months layout I felt that there was a waste of space. Halfway through the month, I stop using the time tracker at the top of each day. I find that I was putting too much pressure on my self to fit my task in the times I had marked. In turn, I found that I was not finishing any task I had that day, had to go!

I have also made each day space smaller as I was not having enough task to fill the space and was having a lot of unused paper. I also changed up how the family trackers look like. They are still tracking the same habits, last months tracker just seems like it was squished onto a page. Making it hard to see what habit on what line.

Ok, let's Jump into it!

October

November

I have added pictures of October Setup so that you can see the changes I have made in November Setup.

If you have any questions or suggestions for layouts please free to leave them below in the commits.

Thank You for stopping by to see how I have Setup November.

Planning Routine

Hello, Butterflies

Do you have a Planning Routine? Do you like seeing others planning routines?

Today I will be sharing with you my planning routine.

I start out my weeks on a Monday. On Saturday I set down and draw out my weekly layout. Sunday I set down in the evening and plan out my week with events and task that have deadlines. I will also do my weekly review of the week ending, and go over my weekly goals to see if I have met the goal I have set for myself. I will also set new goals or move goals I did not meet to the following week.

I will also set up my time tracker for Monday on Sunday. I do not track the time I have spent, I will mark the times on how I would like to spend my day. I will add any extra task to my Monday section. Most of my task that I pre-plan will be in the same colors as the colors I use on my time tracker. This way any task I add thought out the day will be in black ink, and I know when I go back and look over the week it's been added that day.

Monday

Each Morning I wake up at 6 am, So from 6 to 7:30am is waking up and hanging out with family until everyone leaves for school and work.  Once everyone leaves the house I will go to my tracker and mark off the kid's tackers. I will also flip to the week to draw in the weather for the day and to see what I have for the day. I will leave my Traveler's Notebook open to the week and leave it open on my desk to make it easier to check off the task.

Each Night I will set down 30mins before heading to bed, I will fill in my tracker and the kid's trackers.  I will also do my doodle a day. After that is complete I will go back to my weekly layout and mark off any task that I completed and migrate any task that is not finished that day.

Tuesday

Tuesday are my short day so I will move my morning routine up. I will start working on posting my blog at 6:30 then fill in all trackers, weather and time tracker for the day. I will move any task that I did not finish on Monday to Wednesday or Thursday.  I know I must have all my daily task done by 10am.

At 10:30 pm I will mark off all trackers for the day. I will go ahead and fill in Wednesday time tracker and weather. I will also do my doodle a day.  I will look over Wednesday task and set out any materials I may need for the morning task.

Wednesday

6 to 7:30 am Family time, again marking off the kid's tracker for morning task. I will go ahead and jump on my task, as Wednesday is a very busy day with Tuesday a short day.

30 mins before bed I will fill out all trackers for the day. Do the daily doodle, I will also fill in Thursday weather and time tracker. Again I will get out any materials that I need for Thursday.

Thursday

6 to 7:30 am Family time, again marking off the kid's tracker for morning task. I will also go over my project spread, I will remove any task that I have completed at the beginning of the week.   I will also update any action steps for the project still running.

At 10:30 I will set down and mark all trackers, move any task that was not completed to Saturday. I will fill in Friday's weather and block out time for School.  I will mark any time for assignments for the three classes I am taking.

Friday

6 to 7:30 am Family time. I will do any clean up around the house before I set down and fill in all trackers. I will work on a small task before I need to be in class at 9am.

6pm I will set down do my doodle for the day. I will look over tasks that I have moved to Saturday.

Saturday

When I wake up the first thing is to fill in trackers from Friday night. Then I just on finish any open task. Then I will draw up the next week layout. I will also make sure I am done working by noon. As the rest of the day is hanging out with the family!

Sunday

In the morning I will catch up on trackers for the week. As for Sunday, we as a family will go over the trackers. We will talk about how we did without habits and how we could do better for the following week.

An hour before heading to bed I will plan out the week adding any events or task deadlines.

Here is what my week looks like:

I hope seeing my Planning Routine helps you make your own routine if you do not have one.

If you have a Planning Routine I would love to hear about yours, as we can get great ideas from each other.

October Setup!

Hello, Butterflies

It's almost October! Gosh, the time has flown by feels like we just setup September. October is my favorite month, because of my favorite holiday Halloween! So this month you will see a reflection of that in my spreads for this month.

What spreads I have carried on in this month are....

  • Social Media Calendar
  • Weekly Goals
  • Mine and My Children Trackers
  • Monthly View
  • Monthly To Do's List
  • Weekly Layout

Social Media Calendar I have added sticky notes to the side as I have not plan yet where I want blog post on what day for the month.

Weekly Goals/Mine Tracker
I have my weekly goals page on the left, and my tracker on the right. I place the pages this way as each day I will be filling in the tracker, this way I will also remind myself of my weekly goals.

Children Tracker
This is how we track the kid's chores and other things like studying for a class. Each Sunday we set down as a family and go over it and what they need to work on more.

Monthly View/Monthly To Do's List
I have changed the look of my monthly view and add a monthly to do's list.  Last month I made the calendar on two pages without a monthly to do's.

 Weekly
This is how I have the layout for the week, but I only fill them out day by day.

I hope enjoyed seeing how I lay out the Month October.

If you have any questions feel free to leave your commit down below.

Weekly or Daily Layout Inspiration!

Hello Butterflies,

Today I want to share with you some weekly and daily layouts I use in my Buller Journal. Some of these layouts were found on Instagram or inspired from others on  YouTube.  Some of these spreads can be called Weekly or Daily, depending on how you set up your layouts.

In some of these spreads, you will see that I have time lines, this way I can plan how I want my day to go. You can always use the time line as a small tracker on how you spent your time each day.  Enough jabbering lets get into the spreads!

Weekly #1

This is a pretty simple layout. On the left side, I have the week going down the page. Then I have a weekly To Do's box, Notes, Next Week, Goals and a Meal plan box.

Weekly #2

This weekly spread is for more if you need to time the whole day out. You will see I do not have a time line on Saturday or Sunday I don't work on these days so there is no need in the time line. I do like to track the weather so you can see I have made space with in this spread for that. I have also put in a Notes and To Do box.

Weekly/Daily #3

This layout is one of my Favorite spread to do. Its a mixture of a couple of inspirations. I made the top like the Erin Condren life planner, and the time line from Kara Boho Berry. I also find that this spread gives me room for a busy day or room to journal about the day. This is one of my larger weekly/ daily spreads. I also have Notes, Next Week and Goals/ Action Step boxes.

Weekly #4

This spread is my horizontal layout. This spread has each day going across, but I have placed a line going down the center to divide the box into home and work. I have added the To Do box at the top of the page so that it smacks me in the face of the things I need to get done for the week. I have also added in a Weekly Review box at the end of the week.

Weekly/ Daily #5

This spread I was inspired by photos that I found on Instagram Yukiko Sakamura aspiring minimalist. This also reminded me of weekly #3.  With this spread, the time line is vertical with room for a list of task below. I also have room at the bottom of each column to put the weather for each day. I also have put in the weekly review as the last column of the lay out.

I hope you have enjoyed and walk away with some inspiration on layouts or spreads you can do.  I will be placing a Free download of Weekly/ Daily spread # 3 on the Download Library
