Unstructured Planning

Today I am going to talk about unstructured planning, Patty Gardner is the one that did a video on this planning system.  Sometime filling out a planner page overwhelming, so you may want to try this system to get you over the hump to get things done in your day. I fine this way of planning like bullet journal, just with lined paper. You can use any paper that you feel like using, plan white paper, grid paper, dot grid paper or just line paper.

Patty has a video on YouTube that I will be linking of her explanation how she uses the planning system. Unstructured Planning

I found when I was in a planning funk that this system help me still get thought my day and still get things done. This system got me back in the grove of wanting to plan. I have used many planning systems and when I am switching my planning system I fine that I get in to this funk of why am I doing this.  I just have not found my planner peace, I am still doing a trail of the different systems. So, as I am setting my planner for a different system I will use Patty unstructured planning to make sure that I am still getting things done for the day.

Unstructured Planning:
·       Make a list of 5 things you can do right now, start out with the small things.
·       After marking the 5 things of your list, set down and write 5 more things to do.

So on with the list 5, this will help you build the momentum to keep going until all task are done. If you don’t get passed the second list of 5, don’t worry move on to the next day.
Doing the list of 5 task should leave you room to write notes on one side of the page, like Phone calls, Dinner Plans, Appointments and other things.
Like bullet journal it gives you the freedom to do as you please, but gives you the option to get things done in an unstructured way.
You can also make a monthly index so that you can go back and look over you notes or the day.
