about Bullet Journaling created by Ryder Carroll

When starting on my journey
of planning, I looked into many different planning systems. When looking over
the many different system, I ran across Bullet Journaling. Not until recently
did I start use this system, In the beginning of using this system I found that
it was a little overwhelming. So, I am going to tell you about the basic of the
bullet journal system and how you can change it to fit your needs.
Bullet Journal is a
customizable and forgiving organization system.
This system you can us for
many different ways. Rapid Logging is a key part of bullet journaling.
Rapid Logging Consists
of four components:
· Topics (Simply a short descriptive title)
· Page Number (Number your page before you add
information)
· Short Sentences
· Bullets
There are three bullet
categories that help you to rapid log
· Tasks
° Events
-
Notes
There are signifiers that are
symbols that gives your bullet additional context.
* Priority
– Important
! Inspiration – Great ideas,
personal mantras or insight
Ő Explore
- Further research, information or discovery
(that would be and eye)
When you start, yours journal the first couple
of pages should be Index. This is
where you will index your pages of your future log, monthly log, daily or
collections.
The next couple page should be your Future Log. This could be 3 months,6 months
or 12 month, it is up to you how you want to have you journal. This is where
you would place future events, task or appointments.
The third section is a Month Log. One side of your page should have the first letter of
each day with numbers of the months.
The fourth section Daily Log.
What you need to think about is how you want
your bullet journal this is an overview of the basic system.
