How and Why I Removed My BuJo from the Hard Cover

Hello Butterflies,

Today I want to talk to you about How and Why I removed my BuJo from the card cover.

Let's start with the Why!

Going to give a little history for the why. When I started using a planner I started with a Traveler's Notebook and printed inserts. As I was looking around for different styles of inserts for my TN, I ran across information about Bullet Journal.

I fell in love with the concept of the Bullet Journal. As I was looking around for more information about Bullet Journals I watch a ton of YouTube video's and see that a lot of them was using the Leuchtturm1917 Notebook due to the paper quality.

So, I order my L1917 , when it comes in I set it up and used it for months. Love it, paper quality is very good, but was missing my TN.  So, how could I combine the two?  Why don't I remove the hard cover and put it in my TN!

Now it's How!

When I open my L1917 that there is a thicker page in the front and back. So I cut with Exacto between the thick front page and the index page. Flip to the back cutting between the thick back page and the pocket. I removed the cover from the paper, but want to cover the glue and support the spin. Washi tape for the win! I ran three strips of washi tape down the spine of the paper to make sure that it will be flexible and keep the paper together.

You are probably asking your self why didn't go for the soft cover?
I went with the hard cover L1917, because of the more pages in the notebook.

It set nicely in my Traveler's Notebook and if I need to take it out, I still can. So, if you find yourself need to use two different type of planners Join them together.

As always have a good day Butterflies, see you soon.
