I am Back, Plan with Me July

Hello Butterflies,

I know it’s been some time from the last time I have posted. Life had gotten busy around my house with my kids were out of school for the summer. I am back and have missed you all.

Updated what I am now using to plan in.  I am still using the Bullet Journal method, but I do it in a homemade Traveler’s Notebook A5 size.  I use the Leuchtturm1917 notebook and 2 other A5 size note books that I have removed the hard cover and placed on my Traveler’s Notebook Cover. I use one notebook to write notes, brain dumps and plan how to do my weekly layouts. My second notebook 1917 I use for my monthly overviews, goals each month, tracking habits, weekly views, and my daily to do’s. My third and last notebook I keep my yearly bill tracking, Vacation saving plan, Content lists, my project plan list, and the action steps. Coming soon I will be posting how I removed the hard covers and place them in my traveler’s notebook, so if this something interested in seeing how I did this please feel free to subscribe.

Coming soon in the next couple of weeks PlanneryButterfly will be opening a Facebook Group, I will also be updating the look of the website, and posting on Instagram Bullet Journal Layouts. With all that out the way let’s get to the July plan with me.

For the month of July, I decided to go with a red, white and blue theme. I have changed how I did my monthly view this month and went with and calendar view with a monthly to do’s list on the right side.

New to my layouts is a Weekly Review. I used this last month and found that help me with my monthly goals staying on track and writing what hindered me from reaching my goal for the week. I have four questions I ask myself and the end of each week,

·       What did I achieve this week?

·       What helped me achieve this?

·       What hindered my progress?

·       What will I be changing next week?

I have always had a goals page to my monthly layouts, but found that I would not go back and look at them. So, have decided to break them up in to daily, weekly and monthly to do’s.  I have goals broke down into four categories Personal care, Family, Home, and Business.

I have also added one line a day and removed one doodle a day. I may go back to one doodle a day, but with such a busy month I am going to try and stick to one line a day. The last time I tried this spread I did not stick to it and found half way through the month I would not fill it in.

I have also changed up the look of my monthly habit trackers. I have switched to the vertical habit tracker so that when I am filling them in each night that I do not have to turn the book. I have found with this lay out that I can keep all my trackers on two pages. Before I would have three pages of a tracker and found that I was only filling out two of the three trackers. I track my children chores and self-care, for me I track self-care, cleaning, work outs and walking. I also track my step per day and sleeping.

This is my weekly and daily layout. On the left side are my weekly overview and weather tracking. On the right side is my daily to do’s. I have the daily side due to the fact I do not have enough room for on my weekly for all me to do’s. On the second page Sunday box, and movie box, note box, next week box and a weekly water and step tracker.

Thank you for planning with me for the month July. You can see this month I am trying a lot of new things in my bullet journal to try and keep it simple.

Hope to see you next Sunday with an update how this month is working for me, and also for information on the Facebook group and Instagram.

As always have a good day Butterflies, see you soon.
