Hello Butterflies,
Have you ever want a dash board in your Traveler's Notebook that you can change when you want?
Guess what you can! Today I am going to show you how I make my dash boards with pockets to put in my TN.
Things you will need :
2 - Transparency Film page
Ruler
Scissors or Paper Cutter
Double Side Tape or Clear Tape
Your Choice of Washi Tape
This is the easiest pocket dash board I have made in the last couple of years. I am making an A5 size dash board, you may need to cut your sheets to the size you are using.
I lay the films on top of each other and make sure their line up. This where you will have to choose what you want to hold the two pieces together, Double Side Tap or Clear Tap.
If you use the Clear Tap you will need to wrap the tape around the edges on the two sides and the bottom. Leave the top open so you can slide your favorite pictures in.
Now to cover the clear tap you will pick your washi tape and wrap it around the film where you place the tape to cover it up.
Now it's time for you to fold the film sheets in half if you're making an A5 size. After you fold it in half you will need to run a Bone Folder or any thing that will flat your fold. At the top of the fold, you will need to cut a small triangle, so that your elastic will have a grove to set in. You will also need to do the same at the bottom at the fold.
Now it's Time to add what ever pictures you want!
I choose to cut my picture in half so that I did not have a problem with it folding around my inserts.
I hope this inspires you to make your own Dash Board for your Traveler's Notebook!
