Update on Planner Line Up

Hello, Butterflies

I would like to share with you what planners I am using and how they are working together to help me get my task done each day.

For those of you that have been following me know that I Bullet Journal in my Travelers Notebook. For the last couple of months, I felt like I need a change in my planning routine. I was not sure if I need to print out inserts, or just change up planners altogether.

So I found on the Target website that they had Happy Planners for Teachers and Students. I went to to the store to see if our Target carried them in store so I could see first hand how they were set up. Well, unfortunately, my store does not carry them in store.

So I found that there were many Youtube reviews on the Happy Planner you could get at Target. After watching so many reviews I decided to make the jump and buy a Happy Planner.

After receiving it in the mail, set up the planner as I would use it. I bought the classic Happy Planner for Students.  After using it the first week in August I found that I loved it but still need daily pages so that I could add notes or journal about my day. I was also missing my Travelers notebook, I love the chunkiness for it in my hand.

So I decided to use them together because no one was telling me to use only one planner. So I use the Monthly view and the weekly view in the happy planner and use the Travelers notebook for my daily list of tack.

For my monthly view, I color coded. Teal colors are for a blog post, Bills are red Kids school stuff is orange, Tv shows we watch as a family is in green and all other things are wrote in black. I also mark paydays with a sticker.

How I have my weekly setup in a student planner is the First box is the weather for the day. The second box is for the meals, the Third and fourth boxes are for the work task. Fifth and sixth boxes are for other things like house and kids stuff. The seventh bo is for small notes for the day. This is a Monday - Friday setup, on the weekends it only the weather and meals I have used.

For my daily, I add a time bar at the top and color code how much time I will be spending. Blue is sleep, pink is work, purple is personal time and yellow is family time. The first couple of days like this I was not sure how I want to spend my time so you will see that not yellow on the Monday and Tuesday. The time bar is how I want my day to go. I add the day of the week with the date and a water tracker. Then I will add my task in more details because I have more room.

The Happy Planner stays on my desk open to the weekly page. My Travelers Notebook is my carry around or planner on the go. In my TN it also has calendars of 2018 that is marked out the same way as my happy planner. So if I am out an bout and need to add the appointment to it and then when I get home I can add it to my Happy Planner.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my planner line for the rest of the year of 2018.

I am not saying I may not draw up monthly inserts for Bullet Journaling spreads, but for right now this is working for me.

August Setup

Hello, Butterflies

Can you believe it? August is here! It's that time again for another monthly setup. For August I went with a back to school theme.

This month I have added in a couple of new layouts to my month, so this months layout is larger than normal. I have been working on trying to find the go-to weekly layout that I can use each month, so this month I will be changing my weekly layout each week. At the end of August, I will be posting what each weekly layout looks like and how I used them. I will be talking about what worked and what did not work for me.

For this month set up, I will only set up one week as I will be setting up each week as they come. This way I can change what not working for me the following week.

Let's jump into August Setup...

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my August Set up and has inspired you to try some new spreads in your Traveler's Notebook or your Bullet Journal.

If you have any question please free to leave them down below, If you have any suggestions on a spread I should try for September please also leave comments, image or links to them.

My Bullet Journal Suppiles

Hello, Butterflies

Today I would like to share what supplies I use when I am planning. Over the last 2years, went from using Pentel R.S.V.P Fine black pen to a much larger collection of pens and markers.

When I started out a bullet journaling all I need was a notebook and a pen. Within 6 months I was tired of just seeing black and white spreads and then grow to want to add colors to the spreads I was adding to my bullet journal.

So I went out bought Crayola Twistables, as they were cheap and I could do fine lines with them. From there I started watching YouTube videos of others decorate their bullet journal, to find there was many affordable markers and pens out there.

From there I have grown a large Markers and Pen collection.

So I will be listing all of my collection below and I will be showing the markers and pens that I grab the most.

Crayola Supertips 50 pack
Staedtler triplus fineliner 10 pack
Tombow Dual Brush Pens Primary Colors 10 pack
Tombow Dual Brush Pen  Pastel Color 10 Pack
Sharpie Pen Finepoint 5 pack
Tombow Funenosuke Calligraphy Pen 2 pack
Pigma Micron 6 pack

The image down below is what I grab on a Daily.

I love my Collection!

I hope you enjoyed seeing what pens and markers I use in my bullet journal.

If you have any suggestions of pens I should try out please leave them in the comments below.

Want that Summer Body? How your Bullet Journal can Help?

Hello, Butterflies

Today I want to share with you a couple of things to help you get that summer body. I will also be sharing with you a place you may want to check out for health and wellness products.

Over the last month or so I have been wanting to get back into working out to lose weight. I found that it hard to push my self to work out, so I came up with a bullet journal spread to help me with this. I am one if I draw a spread up I must use it. Plus it's a great feeling to check things off and seeing results of your work.

So today I would like to share what I come up with...

This is my new workout log for June, in the months after I may do a little tweaking to the layout to fit my workouts.

I had talked early about a place you may want to check out for Health and Wellness Products. They sell products for weight loss, rejuvenate hair and skin and energy boosting items.

Jessica Mccormick

Please Stop by and check out all the wonderful products Jessica is selling.

How February Turn Out

Hello, Butterflies

Today I would like to share with you how my February Layouts Turn Out.

This month I tried a lot of new things in my layouts. I went from having to just have weekly, to now having daily pages also. I was finding that just having the weekly spread was not working for me, I did not have enough room to put any notes for the day. I also like to Brain Dump on my daily pages, then having a page within the insert to have them.

I was finding myself holding back from filling an insert by the end of the month. So this month I gave myself more room, spread my wings for more note taken, brainstorm and a brain dump.

For the last full week in February I went from a weekly overview to a weekly overview with an hourly setup. I want to try and hourly view within my weekly to help me with time management. Last month I did not complete as many tasks when I want to, I think that because I felt like I had all day to get my list done. When it comes to the end of the day I may get one or two task done, I was losing time thought out the day.

I was not completing all my task for the month, which I was setting my self behind on work I need to get done for the month. I was also setting myself behind on my goals. I understand sometimes you have those kinds of weeks, but if I keep it up it will become a habit I will have to break.

I have also started to Journal daily and felt with having a full page that I would have the room that I could fill with daily task, notes, and journaling. In the past, I have not been big on journaling, but I need a place that I could talk about my day the wins I have that day and even the lose that I had and maybe how I could change it the next time.
